“One Team One Fight” is the name of an initiative which provides one-stop resources for veterans
seeking help with legal issues, which often also go hand-in- hand with housing, education, medical,
employment and psychological issues.

Retired Monroe County Court Judge Patricia Marks has also been instrumental in
bringing services to veterans, including involvement of the legal community.
Erin Kuhn, AmericiCorps VISTA paralegal at Legal Assistance of Western New
York (LawNY) helped coordinate this year’s second annual Valor Day fair on the
Monroe Community College Brighton campus.
Numerous attorneys from LawNY and Volunteer Legal Services Project, Inc. were also on hand. Several paralegals and summer law interns gave up their Saturday to field questions and guide those attending the information fair.
