VLSP welcomes individuals who wish to donate their time and services to help our low-income clients with their civil legal problems.
VLSP is primarily a volunteer-based organization that assists clients in two ways:
(1) Referring clients to attorneys for direct representation and
(2) Providing legal advice and form completion services at one of our legal clinics.
Volunteers are welcome to assist clients through either means. Our goal is to make volunteering a satisfying experience that will work within your busy schedule.
If you are interested in becoming one of our volunteer attorneys, please call Sheila A. Gaddis at 585-232-3051 or contact her at
sgaddis@wnylc.com.

(3) Attending court with our advocates and staff clinics,
(4) Working with pro se clients on debt resolution, preparation of health care directives, and estate planning.
