Art of Lawyering Silent Auction Fundraiser bidding continues through November 16, 2011

VLSP's Art of Lawyering gallery is the only one of its kind in Upstate New York. Over 120 pieces of art created by local attorneys, judges and other legal professionals as well as friends and family members of legal professionals are featured, including paintings, pottery, fiber art, quilts, jewelry, photography, wood sculpture and metal sculpture.

Bidding continues through November 16. Auction items along with current prices may be viewed on our web site. Bids may be submitted to cdoherty@wnylc.com All are welcome to stop by our offices during business hours to view the wonderful selection of items on display as well as to place bids.

Nancy Jurs, Larry Merrill, The Nan Miller Gallery and the Estate of Jacques Zuccaire are among the nationally known friends of local attorneys who have donated art for the silent auction. Also up for bids are several artisan experiences, including gourmet dinner parties, an informal group photography workshop with acclaimed photographer Larry Merrill, a getaway weekend in the Adirondacks, a one-hour New Orleans style blues piano lesson, yoga classes, and a thread painting class.

VLSP is also pleased to offer a commissioned painting or drawing by up-and-coming artist T.J. Cronmiller, an art student at Monroe Community College. T.J. works in oil, acrylic, pencil and charcoal. He typically works from a photograph, so the winning bidder can submit a photo from which T.J. can work.
