HELP-U Project

JustCause provides free legal assistance to residents of the Rochester Housing Authority (RHA) in the following areas:

1. Wills

2. Health care proxies

3. Powers of attorneys

4. Written funeral and burial wishes

HELP U-is a free legal clinic for seniors living in Rochester Housing Authority Buildings. Volunteer attorneys from Harter Secrest & Emery LLP , the Counsel’s Office at the University of Rochester, and other pro bono attorneys provide advice to residents in their building. Executed documents are returned to the residents for their safekeeping.
